It is important to check this router is running the latest firmware, to ensure that network communications with your reader are not lost.

Procedure to check the router firmware version

1. Download unlock tool
2. Turn on the Router
3. Connect via lan cable to PC
4. Browse to http://192.168.1.1
5. When asked for a password, use admin/admin by default
6. check on software version Tejas T2100N-14B  v2.17 v2.19 v2.27. v2.28
7. Target upgrade  “Software Version”  and  then a firmware update is page
   
8. On the left, click on Management
9. Click on Firmware Update
10. Click on choose file
11. Select the GX Earth-2022.bin file you saved to your computer in step 1 and press Open
12. Press apply
13. When asked, confirm that you want to upgrade the firmware by pressing OK
14. Wait 2 minutes for the firmware update to complete

To update firmware:

Download the new firmware file Earth-2022A .Bin file  and save it to your computer

After 2 minutes the firmware update will be complete. It is important now to perform a factory reset of the router settings.

1. Browse to http://192.168.1.1 and use admin for the username and password as before
2. On the left, click on Management
3. Click on Setting management
4. Click the Load Default button
